Enucleation TURBT is a new rising technique for bladder tumor in some circumstances. We hope to understand the efficiency and prognosis of Enucleation TURBT comparing to traditional TURBT. With VGHTC data.
Materials and Methods:
We recruited 5 year data from 2016 january 1st to 2021 December 31th patients in VGHTC who received TURBT. We compare its method whether is enucleation or traditional TURBT. We compare its tumor size, numbers and position, surgery time, muscle sampling rate, complication rates, recurrence time, numbers need partial or radical cystectomy at last.
We have collect total 1700 patients who received TURBT druing 2016 to 2021. Eventually, single and medium size of the bladder tumor seem to be more suitable for enucleation TURBT. Surgery time was slightly increase in enucleation group but no significant difference. Muscle sampling rate was higer in enucleation group. No Difference in complication rates, recurrence time, and patient received partial or radical cystectomy in later clinical course.
Though enucleation TURBT can only be use in some circumstances but the muscle sampling performance was well comparing to traditional TURBT. Surgery time slightly increase compare to traditional especially in multiple lesions condition. However, it can be improved by more experiencd surgeon. Currently no difference in recurrence time or patient who received partial or radical cystectomy later in life. But for bladder sparing patients, Enucleation TURBT was promising for both evaluation and radical tumor enbloc resection.
