Abstract:

Bladder cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia are two of the most common conditions in the aging male population.It is not common for the surgery of simultaneous transurethral resection of bladder cancer and prostate (TURBT plus TURP) for patients.The oncological safety is still unclear.We presented the case series of simultaneous resection of bladder tumor and benign prostate.During TURP surgery, bladder tumor incidentally found.The tumor recurrence was concerned.From the literature review, no obvious risk of bladder cancer recurrence or prostate urethra recurrence after a simultaneous resection of bladder tumor and benign prostate.
