 An uncommon case report: prepuce lichen sclerosus

Introduction: We presented an uncommon case: a 12 years old teenager patient who underwent circumcision with pathological report revealing lichen sclerosus of phimosis.

Case presentation:

This 12-year-old male patient had redundant prepuce. He also had recurrent balanoposthitis with dysuria for a long time, so he was brought to our hospital for help. Physical examination presented unretractable foreskin, so surgical intervention was suggested. Then he underwent circumcision by disposable circumcision suture device on 113/10/09, and the specimen was sent for pathological examination. The pathological diagnosis reported specimen consistent with a phimosis with mild inflammatory cell infiltration, and focal pattern of lichen sclerosus is also seen microscopically.

Discussion: We presented an uncommon case who underwent circumcision with pathological diagnosis reporting prepuce lichen sclerousus.
