Primary hyperaldosteronism manifested by rhabdomyolysis : a case report

Abstract:
Primary aldosteronism is characterized by hypertension, decreased plasma rennin, increased plasma and
hypokalemia. Rhabdomyolysis is a rare presentation of hypokalemia. We report a male patient with with rhabdomyolysis and severe hypokalemia as heralding symptom of primary aldosteronism.
