Introduction:
To develop and validate a prognostic nomogram in patients with bladder cancer who underwent radical cystectomy based on Asian population.
Material and methods:
Data of 304 Bladder cancer patients who undergo radical cystectomy at Siriraj hospital (2012-2023) were include to this study. Data were randomly split into Training group (80% , N = 242) and Testing group (20% , N=62) . Cox regression analysis was use to identify prognostic factors and Kaplan‐Meier analysis to assess survival outcome. A nomogram predicting OSS was constructed. Its performance was validated by AUC, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves, concordance index (C‐index).
Results:
The results show median OSS was 51 months . Multivariate analysis of the training group showed that Age , Preoperative GFR, type of diversion , N stage and Lympho-vascular invasion were significantly associated with overall survival. In Testing group, C‐index of the nomogram was 0.734(95%CI ,0.688 – 0.782). AUC of the nomogram were 0.793(95%CI ,0.723 – 0.864). Calibration plots for 1- ,3‐ and 5‐year OSS displayed good concordance.
