The causes of vesicle stone are multiplicity. One of these is foreign body encrustation with stone formation. Foreign body are such as suture which left after intra-vesicle procedure or migration of intra-uterus device (IUD).
According to web article review, the cause of IUD are initial perforation of vesicle wall while IUD placed, migration of IUD due to bladder wall contraction, or bowel movement. Here, we present a elder woman who had two episode of vesicle stone attack during short period of time.
A 76 year old woman are daily performance actively, she had history of right total hip replacement. Dysuria with frequency was developed and she visited our clinic on Nov 2017. After evaluation, removal of vesicle stone was arranged to her. Two months later, the same course of symptoms developed to her again. And another vesicle stone was detected.
We had review her history and image study, which revealed a previous right total hip replacement with usage of bone cement. As the vesicle stone appeared perfectly spherical shape and it was very hard to break up. And comparison to file of pelvic or KUB before and after procedure, we found that the numbers of bone cement over hip joint decreased. We had the conclusion of that the two episodes of vesicle development are due to migration of bone cement.
