Introduction: Penile curvature can be divided into congenital and acquired connective tissue disease of the tunica albuginea of the penis which usually presents with penile curvature/deformity. Acquired penile curvature is mostly caused by Peyronie’s disease(PD), which is characterized by palpable palques.
Case presentation: A 56-year-old man with underlying disease of (1) hypertension, (2) T2DM, (3) hyperprolactinemia, (4) testosterone deficiency, (5) penile trauma history, (6) penile curvature, (7) prostate enlargement. He had sexual dysfunction with hyperprolactinemia and testosterone deficiency, long-term followed up at our hospital. He complained penile curvature to right side after penile trauma history, and he denied congenital penile curvature. He sometimes had erectile dysfunction with tenderness, poor rigid, and painful ejaculation, but he still had morning erection. Recently, he complained erectile and ejaculatory tenderness exacerbated and it was annoying. Physical examination presented penile curvature to right side without palpable plaque. Blood test showed no specific finding. After the discussion, he underwent Nesbit procedure for curvature of penis on 2024/01/05. Afterward, the patient returned to GU OPD for follow-up.
Discussion: Multiple treatment has been provided for the management of PD, their efficacy is uncertain because numerous trials have failed to demonstrate favorable findings.
