Abstract:
Collecting duct carcinoma of kidney is a rare neoplasm with only about one hundred cases ever reported in the English literatures. Herein, we present a case of collecting duct carcinoma of kidney in our hospital and reviewed the literature. We present a 67 year-old male fell down in China with right femoral neck fracture. Pathologic fracture diagnosed there. PET-CT scan showed suspected right kidney tumor with bony and lymph nodes metastasis. Another CT done in Taiwan favored right renal pelvis urothelial carcinoma with staging T4N2M1. Renal biopsy showed poorly differentiated carcinoma. Chemotherapy with Cisplatin and 5-FU combined Immunotherapy with Nivolumab prescribed initially. Right Nephroureterectomy and bladder cuff excision was done and pathologic results showed collecting duct carcinoma. The literatures were reviewed.
