案例報告: 腎臟囊腫合併腎細胞腫瘤案例報告及文獻討論

Cyst-associated renal cell carcinoma (CRCC) is not an uncommon disease. But the incidence of coexistence of a single renal cyst and renal cell carcinoma is very low

We present a case of 65-year-old male with an incidentally detected left renal cyst by sonography. Magnetic Resonance Imaging showed a 3.6cm left renal cystic lesion with mural nodule, cystic RCC is highly suspected. No evidence of metastasis was detected. We treated the patient with partial nephrectomy. The gross specimen showed two little cyst arising from the inner surface of the preexisting cyst. Pathological examinations revealed a multilocular cystic arrangement of single to a few-layered neoplastic lining cells with central nuclei and appreciable clear cytoplasm. The pathological diagnosis was clear cell renal cell carcinoma, undergoing extensive multilocular cystic change. There was no local recurrence and no systemic metastasis were detected during the 5-months follow-up period.
