Abstract
Renal artery aneurysm (RAA) is a care condition. It is often asymptomatic and benign. Symptomatic RAA would result in hypertension (HTN), hematuria, pain and hydronephrosis. The most severe complication is sudden onset of the aneurysm rupture. It would result in the mortality.
We presented one female patient with HTN. She regularly took anti-HTN medicines. Incidentally, we found one 3.5cm parapelvic cyst and ipsilateral hydronephrosis in her left kidney. Further abdominal contrast CT scan revealed a large saccular aneurysm from anterior branch of left renal artery. The TAE was carried out via aneurysm inside with coils and absolute alcohol mixed with Lipidol for the aim of devascularization. The patient’s convalescence was uneventful. Her HTN and hydronephrosis condition got improved and didn’t need any medicines any more.
