Cryptorchidism is the most common genital problem encountered in pediatrics. premature
birth, a low birth weight, Down’s syndrome, family history and tobacco consumption by a mother during pregnancy are risk factor of cryptorchidism. Cryptorchidism with polydactyly was rare in previously case report. It often occurred in some gene deletion with multiple problems even developmental delay or mental retardation.
We report a 7 year-old boy, with polydactyly who was found bilateral cryptorchidism.
Case report
A 7 year-old boy who was found bilateral cryptorchidism. physical examination showed left hand with extra one more thumb. Bilateral orchidopexy and finger amputation was performed smoothly. Out-patient department follow up was good. There was no developmental delay or mental retardation.
