Abstract
Renal angiomyolipoma usually is a benign neoplasm and consists of components of smooth muscle, fat and blood vessels. Renal epitheloid angiomylipoma (E-AML) is a rare mesenchymal tumor of the kidney included in the family of perivascular epitheloid cell tumor (PEComas) which are potentially malignant. Since the clinical presentation and radiographic pictures are not specific, the diagnosis remains pathological. We present a case of renal epitheloid angiomyolipoma in a 54 year-old uremic female who underwent robotic assisted nephroureterectomy and review of the literatures.
