Urology Department, Kaohsiung Municipal Ta-Tung Hospital, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Case description:
This is a 44 year old female with lung adenocarcinoma diagnosed in 2018 and received chemotherapy with Vinorelbin and cisplatin in 2018. However, brain, liver and bone metastasis were noted since 2020, and further target therapy and chemotherapy were done. Abdominal computed tomography follow up in 2021/11 revealed bladder tumor(Figure 1.2.3) and cystoscopy showed multiple bladder tumor over trigone(Figure 4.5.6). Urine routine showed no hematuria nor pyuria. Transurethral resection of bladder tumor was then performed for pathology diagnosis. The final pathology reported metastatic adenocarcinoma. Secondary bladder cancer accounts from 2% to 12% of bladder cancer, mostly from stomach and skin. Lung cancer with bladder metastasis is extremely rare and is usually found accidentally.
