Case Report :
A 49-year-old female was visited emergent department with the chief complaints of progressive right flank pain without dysuria. Plain radiography showed right upper third ureter stone shadow: one as 0.45 × 0.85 cm in size. Abdominal sonography disclosed right renal stone and right ureter stone, with moderate hydronephrosis and circumferential perirenal urinoma. Endoscopic ureterolithotripsy with double J ureter stent was performed. The follow-up sonography one month later showed spontaneous absorption of perinephric urinoma.
Although renal colic is not rare, this case is interesting for perirenal urinoma caused by obstructive ureterolithiasis with high intraluminal pressure and diagnosed by sonography at emergent department.
