Abstract

    Ureteral strictures is a difficult issue for urologist. Several options are uses for treat ureteral strictures. We present 2 patient suffered from ureteral stricture which lead to poor quality of life. The first case is a 49-year-old female who has history of non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma of cervix, large cell type, FIGO stage IB1, AJCC pT1b1N0M0 status post laparoscopy-assisted vaginal hysterectomy and radical parametrectomy and bilateral pelvic lymph nodes dissection, with recurrence post concurrent chemoradiotherapy. She received double J catheteration regularly due to ureteral stricture, bilateral. The second case is a 66-year-old female who has history of papillary serious adenocarcinoma of endometrium, post staging laparotomy with extrafascial hysterectomy + bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy + bilateral pelvic, common iliac and para-aortic lymph nodes dissection + omentectomy + peritoneal washing cytology, pT1bN0M1, stage IVB. She received double J catheteration regularly due to ureteral stricture, bilateral. Both cases were placed Allium stent as treatment of ureteral strictures. The conditions of hydronephrosis were improved in both case. The renal function improve in one case. A new self-expanding, large-caliber ureteral stent is an another solution for the patient who need internal ureteral drainage.
